Not your average board game, Blokus encourages creative thinking, has received a Mensa award for promoting healthy brain activity, and children and adults can play together for hours of competitive family fun.

The goal of this game is for players to fit all of their pieces onto the board. The player who gets rid of all of their tiles first is the winner. A game typically lasts 30 minutes.

There are several different ways to play the game – 4 players make this abstract game especially fast and exciting; however, it can be just as fun for 2 or 3 players. It can even be played in a solitaire version when 1 player attempts to place all of their pieces in a single sitting.

Blokus is simple to understand and can be addictive, even for those not normally into abstract games. It encourages spatial perception, develops logic, as well as tactical, and strategic thinking.
